Privacy Policy
Summary
Backing Track Creator is made by UnsignedFM, LLC (“we”). The app does not collect, store or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
Your songs
Songs you import are processed entirely on your device. The original file, the separated tracks, your mixes and your song details (title, artist and album, read from the file’s tags) stay on your device and are never uploaded.
Exported mixes are saved only to the location you choose.
Model download
The first time you import a song, the app asks to download the model it needs to split songs. This is the only time the app connects to the internet. The request contains no information about you or your songs. Like any web server, our server that hosts the file may briefly keep standard request logs, such as your IP address and the time of the download, to keep the service running.
Settings
Your settings are stored on your device. They are not backed up or synced by the app.
Permissions
The app uses internet access only to download the model. On Android it also uses a foreground service so music keeps playing when you leave the app. It does not access your contacts, location, microphone, camera or other files; it can only open the files you pick.
Deleting your data
Delete songs from the library, or the model from Settings › Storage. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored.
Children
Because the app collects no personal data, it collects none from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be shown here with a new date.
